I am quite stuck when it comes to writing regularly and likewise other arty habits I enjoy are also sporadic.
So in an attempt to kick start my creative engine, stop staring like a rabbit in the headlights at the blank white page ( apologies for dreadful mix of metaphors ) and maybe find some consistency of output, I am taking part in this creative challenge.
I am going to draw or paint daily for 100 days from June 1st to 8th Sept. This is the first time I have taken part in this project – but I do have previous form when it comes to committing to daily habits/ challenges ( see earlier running everyday in Dec times)
You can find out more about the background to the 100day project here
To give my own project a theme and an element of constraint – I am going to draw stuff from my garden and always in a tiny format of 8cm x 10.5cm watercolour paper. Will be interesting to see how this pans out over the coming months.

I will mostly be sharing the drawings on Instagram but thought I might also blog about it now and again thereby hopefully kickstarting two languishing projects at once !

Stay tuned 🎨☀️☺️
Good luck. I admire your determination. My various 100 day challenges have fallen at the first fence so I shall follow you with admiration. Ceri/Mrs.miniver
